In every 1000 students in Nigeria, at least about 500 of them have always considered mathematics a problem; but of a truth, mathematics is as easy as any subject you can think of. We here at kulture360 have braved up the task of wiping out this trend doing what we know best i.e writing and bringing it to your awareness. Of course the pen is mightier than the sword. We have made our researches in some Nigerian secondary schools and have discovered that of all the subjects students learn, mathematics has always been dreaded. For this i have come up with my own word to describe the fear for mathematics i.e MATHO-PHOBIA. Immortal Animals Who Defy Death For many years, humans have sought absolutely everything in order to attain immortality. This endeavor includes the search for the so-called “ Fountain of Youth ” and even freezing cadavers in the hope of preserving and bringing them to life in the future. Apparently, there are already a number of existing plant and animal species that are seemingly deathless, if not, can live for a very long time when compared to the lifespan of humans. To put it in other words, these organisms could die as they might get killed by either a predator or a destructive change in the environment, or suffer from a disease. Information about these animals are given in this form: Binomial Name Phylum Class Order

EVOLUTION OF GENETICS

Genetics is the science of heredity and variation. On one hand, heredity is the biological process of transferring genetic information and physical traits from parents to their offspring. The term heredity, which comes from the Latin word hereditatem which means “ condition of being an heir “, was first used in the 1530’s. The gene is known to be the basic unit of heredity. In this page, we will explore the history of genetics and important events around the subject of genetics from the dawn of time to the contemporary researches. In deeper terms, it is a segment of the DNA which encodes for a specific protein.
